There are ten nunu-xo to collect, each in its own colour and with its own voice.

Sage speaks Italian. Butter speaks French. Periwinkle speaks Mandarin. That’s how they arrive — but the voice is yours to personalise, so no need to worry if you’re not quite ready to learn Mandarin yet.

You can make yours your own with a hand-crocheted tail too — a length of wool worked over its power cable using the nunu-xo tail kit, so the thing keeping it alive stops looking like a wire.

And a nunu-xo smiling in the corner of the frame adds a small element of delight to your next online call.

About nunu-xo

A small robot with a face, meant for a desk. Designed at Central Saint Martins, London. Engineered in Cambridge.

The hardware. A Raspberry Pi Zero 2W behind a 240×320 ST7789 display, in a moulded shell, powered over USB-C. Out of the box it broadcasts its own wifi network — you join that from your phone and hand it yours.

The intelligence. zeroclaw optimises it: a Rust agent compact enough to live on a Pi Zero in a few megabytes of RAM, holding the agent loop, its memory and its tool calls on the device itself. It reaches Anthropic's models to think, and reaches you over WhatsApp.

Your data. The services on the device talk to each other over loopback, with nothing exposed off it. Your messages stay on your nunu-xo.
